The Art House is a small, volunteer-run and ecocentric ‘Community Interest Company’, and endeavours to help grassroots creativity in Southampton. They are a group that combine various mediums of arts with a cafe that serves mostly locally sourced organic food. They provide local artists with a means of exhibiting and selling their work, whilst at the same time promoting a positive awareness of global, ecological, ethical and animal welfare issues. They are another strong and diverse piece making up Southampton’s newly emerged cultural quarter.

Melting Pot is a Southampton-based organisation created to represent and promote original, traditional and ethnic music styles within an acoustic genre. Melting Pop do not act as a management agency and are non-profit making. It is run by musicians for musicians and explores opportunities for its members. Melting Pot has provided music stages for the past three Romsey Beggars Fair and also Winchester Mayfest. Most recently Melting Pot provided two venues as part of Southampton's Music in the City in October 2010. For EjectorSeat Arts Festival, they will be providing acoustic based music in conjunction with The Art House Gallery Cafe.
