Due to promote the release of their fifth full length album GONG LAKE, Neptune
are returning to Europe for another blistering tour.
Neptune are three. Using a combination of Scrap steel electric guitars,
hobo electronics, and trash drums. Originally starting as a sculpture project,
they now collaborate with other musicians creating busted garage, and incorrect
math. Having played with Arab on Radar, Lightning Bolt, Wolf Eyes, Erase
Errata, The Ex. You know where they are coming from. The Avant Garde
alt rock scene that swells these shores by way of our american cousins has
never know such diverse and interesting acts. Neptune prove that by taking
the creative process one step further and not just forming the music, but
in fact the very intruments that create the noise, they are truly at the
forefront of any scene that might or might not exist.
We can't fucking wait to see them drill our ears again.

We love this band like family members. Family members that perform amazing
progressive slices of pop genius. Since their inception they have continued
to make some of the most interesting and exciting music on this fair Isle.
Possibly the best prog-post-mathcore-rock-stuff band we’ve ever put on.
They have been seen supporting Biffy Clyro, Death Cab For Cutie, Mission
Of Burma to name a few, and have toured extensively with 65daysofstatic
¡Forward, Russia! and Hope of the States. Recently they headlined
to enthusiastic crowds at All Tomorrow's Parties Vs The Fans. They cite
King Crimson, Steve Reich and Sonic Youth as cornerstone influences.
They’ve performed improvised sets, including a memorable set with Saul
Williams and provided sound-tracking of films at London’s ICA and
the Cambridge Film Festival.
Adam Gnade (guh nah dee)
A sense of folk americana is at the forefront of this talented artist's
life. Between writing prose novels and songs linked with a continous stream
of conscious stories, vivid dreams, wishes, hopes, dead end small town
American life, Adam performs intense sets of banjo led articulation.
He recently finished his next full-length album, Trailerparks, which will
be released this winter by Try Harder Records. His experimental-Americana/noise-folk
songs combine dense, spoken, idea/imagery-packed vocals with layers of
banjo, minimalist drums, bells, and nontraditional/modified guitars.

The Youthmovies crew have requested local supports for all their dates
on this tour. Having been hand picked by the Oxford boys is a great honour
for any band. Maths Class are deserving of such an accolade.

We at ejectorseat are geeks. We love lists. And one list we constantly
update is who our favourite ever bands are that played for us.
These guys sit easily in the top 3. And we doubt that will ever change.
The only hard choice will be if this gig was better than the last.
We also can't wait to visit Bournemouth again. They've got some great
faces there. And some awesome bands. Some of which will be playing this
gig. SITE

This gig has a better line up than I've seen at most festivals this
year.
iLiKETRAiNS
If you were at the Joiners on Wednesday the 29th of June 2005, (for the
release of "Before The Curtains Close") or on Thursday 4th of
May 2006 (for Terra Nova warm-up), you would have seen iLiKETRAiNS play
in for us.
Over 2 years later, we are putting them on again. Releasing "Elegies
to Lesson Learnt" (Beggars) proved the predictions that they were certainly
a band to follow. Now they plan to compile a DVD of visual treats.
With glacial coolness, their music builds and swells as well as any post-rock
effort. History proving a rich tapestry for inspiration and lyrical influnce.
Most damaged reputations are great subject matter.
Jeniferever
Hailing from Uppsala, these guys last played for us in Southampton for the
All-dayer, with the amazing volcano!. They are touring again in order to
promote the new album they are currently working on. And hopefully they'll
have copies of the Nangijala EP with them. To hear these guys again in the
best venue in Southampton is going to be magic. For fans of The Appleseed
Cast and Sigur Rós.
The Strange Death of Liberal England
These guys also played for us ages ago. Once as a headline, and once in
support for iLiKETRAiNS
"like God's own orchestra" - UNCUT
"Arriving fully formed with a grandiose atmosphere and a melody too
concise for the genre's more pompous side, with iLiKETRAiNS, they're at
the vanguard of taking post-rock into hearts as well as the brain. 8/10

Pete Lyons has also played with iLT before, and with TSDOLE on the
same date. This is kinda like a re-union, or a flash back to the past. Or
just another awesome gig that we are putting on. A great raconteur, Peter
oft fills song with a sorrowful tale sweeping up atmosphere and dragging
me into dream (such as with My Favourite Time). But then be applies himself
to another facet of the ambient genres, with his instrumental ideas. The
incantation Lingwood is a perfect piece of organic sound layered with a
computer's advantages.

Friendship
Wall of sound duo, sketchy and heroic, loud and rustic, busty and lusty.
They hang around dirty alleys off Kingsland Road and play to lovemaking
rats.
Currently recording new material which we are greatly looking forward
to. Having already played with Tired Irie, these guys are not a million
miles away from doing what Hella do. Hecktic drumming, and alto guitars,
creating a fuzz of layered background onto which vocals are spread,
